I saw a deviantArt watcher’s posts, and he just posted a bunch of silly pictures that one would take using Photobooth, an application that I’ve seen on Apple computing contraptions [by no means will I EVER recognize one as an actual computer].
This brought to mind the whimsy that he must have felt just goofing off and enjoying the simple joy of it, much like how a child would [which I can recognize, since the kids at work do much the same when I see them on that application]. Oh, and by no means am I deprecating this guy for taking silly photos of himself, I just admire the simple joy that it must have brought.
I would see it as a form of nostalgia.
That sentence warrants its own line, for I’ve felt quite nostalgic recently. I don’t know if it is currently the depression I’m denying [which will go away really soon, hooray working out making me happier!] or if it is because of certain actions I have taken due to this depression [hooray cutting ties like raining scissors in the town of hairville!] or even just a reversion that both E-Man and I have noticed in ourselves [he's rediscovering his humanity, being more outgoing, much like he was in high school, whereas I am turtling up, maintaining very few friends, much like how I was in high school], but the nostalgia is there. I’m oftentimes reminded of my past much more lately than previous times.
Perhaps it is my place in life that has made me do this. Returning home, living with family again, facing similar stresses I did before I moved out… actually, some of the stresses are nearly identical…
It is something to look into. I’ll have to keep myself posted.

Hashi, I was looking over your archived Lj entries, and your links to this site there at the end, and I was wishing you would use this as a journal again–even if just short posts–to keep a record of the way your life is going. So many things have happened. You’d enjoy looking back on it in the years ahead I think. You wouldn’t have to put a lot of time in on it . It would also be here on your own site and not at the mercy of admin idiots.
What do you think?
